Privacy Policy

Tim's Guide to Mounted Games is a paid reference app. To provide accounts and a one-time purchase, we store a small amount of data on our servers. This policy explains what we hold and where.

Account data (on our server)

When you create an account we store your email address, a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text), whether you have purchased access, and a list of the devices you have signed in on (a random per-device identifier and a rough label such as “Windows · Chrome”) so we can enforce the 3-device limit. This is stored in our database (Neon, hosted in Australia). We use a login cookie to keep you signed in.

One account across both apps

Your account is shared with The Equine Vet: the same login and the same purchase work on both apps. The account data described here is the same account used by both.

Payments

The one-time purchase is processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We keep only your purchase status and Stripe's customer reference so we can confirm your access. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they process payment data.

What we don't do

No advertising networks, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data. Hosting is provided by Vercel.

Your choices

You can remove a device from your account at any time on the Account page. To delete your account and the data we hold about it, email us at the address below.

Children's privacy

This Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the account data we hold, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing the address below. See also our Terms of Service.
