Terms of Service & Sale

Please read these terms before creating an account or making a purchase. By doing either, you agree to them.

These terms are an agreement between you and Tim's Guide to Mounted Games (“we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of this site and app (the “Service”). They govern your access to and use of the Service and your purchase of access.

1. What you are buying

Full access is a one-time payment of A$50 (Australian dollars). There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for reference, on up to three (3) devices per app, for as long as we continue to operate the Service. Your purchase also unlocks The Equine Vet — one account and one purchase work across both apps (and a purchase of The Equine Vet unlocks this guide). The device limit and account are managed from your Account page.

2. Educational reference only — not an official rulebook

The Service summarises the IMGA Rule Book 2026 and AMGA By-Laws 2024 for convenience. It is an educational reference — not the official rulebook and not a substitute for it. For any competition matter, always refer to the current official rulebooks; the referee's decision is final. Content may contain errors or omissions and may not reflect the latest amendments. You use the Service, and rely on its content, at your own risk.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Your account is shared with The Equine Vet — the same email and password work on both apps. Provide an email address you control. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or are used unlawfully. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

The Service and its content are for your own reference. You may not resell, redistribute, copy, scrape, or republish the content, share your login to circumvent the device limit, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

5. Refunds & cancellation

The Service is digital content delivered to you immediately upon purchase.

Australian customers: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under that law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the Service is not as described or does not work as it should, contact us and we will make it right.

United Kingdom customers: Because access is digital content supplied immediately, by purchasing you consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations once access has been granted. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the Service is faulty or not as described.

Outside a legal entitlement, refunds are at our discretion. To request one, email us at the address below and we will respond promptly.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for rights and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act, or other applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its content. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the Service or refunding the amount you paid.

7. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction — without limiting any non-excludable rights you have under the consumer law of your own country or state.

9. Contact
